Patterns originated as an architectural concept by Christopher Alexander as early as 1977

Patterns, an ancient and captivating art, have a rich history worldwide. In Iran, patterns started with simple geometric shapes and evolved into intricate designs. India and China boast vibrant clothing, architecture, and art patterns. Egypt's patterns draw from nature.

Patterns exist all around us. We can find patterns in the trees, window frames, on the floor, in our clothes, etc. One such real-life example is the zebra pattern.
